With the GARDENA Electronic Rain sensor, natural rain is taken into account by automatic irrigation. Irrigation will not start if it rains or stops when it starts raining during its course. Operation based on the optical-electronic principle allows a quick response to the beginning of the rain-this ensures the saving of water from the tap or the tank. The Raining sensor can be flushed to the bed next to the plants by means of a thorn, or it can be placed on a firm surface. The GARDENA electronic Rain sensor comes with a 5m connection cable and plug. One 9V alkaline battery (not included) is required For operation. This guarantees reliable measurement results for approximately one year.
